Modest, Not Muted: Styling the Abaya Edit

Modest doesn't have to mean plain, and it never has for me. Our abaya silhouettes are built the same way as everything else we make — around botanical prints, warm tones, and a shape that moves.

Three ways to wear it

To the souk: layered over a simple slip dress, sleeves pushed slightly back, with the sculptural tote and flat sandals. Easy, unfussy, all-day.

To the city: belted at the waist over trousers, with the wide-brim hat and a stack of gold jewellery. The structure does the work — you don't need much else.

To an evening out: worn open over a fitted underlayer, nothing belted, letting the fabric and print carry the whole look. This is where the botanical prints really get to breathe.

The same piece, three completely different moods — that's the point of designing modest clothing with real silhouettes, not just fabric yardage.
